On the Eastern Frontiers, the mythical beasts in the hills and mountains are coming down to lay siege to the villages and towns that dot the rural countryside. Lead by an evil wizard floating in a cloud and surrounded by whirring, evil machinery, no amount of written alliances or samples of spells will prevent these evil despot will keep the bandits out or slow the monsters down. It's becoming a simple game of attrition, where you simply need to delay the invading army long enough for your hero to appear.
